It’s unfortunate that Indian women must struggle to wear Sari in an Indian school! The clothing or accessories we don reflect the language we use and reveal our identity shaped by our cultural heritage. It is important to highlight that we are emulating the Christian West dress code under the guise of a Global trend.
Indians overlook the reality that they are destroying their culture, which the world admires, by adopting the fashion style of the Christian West. The letter above was composed by me as a reply to a news article in the Times of India.
